My wife Marie and I used them the other day for a ride around St Tropez, it was just such an easy way to get about. The daunting hills in Monaco are now no longer an issue; just add a boost and the stress is gone. I recently did this heading up to Casino Square, it was a breeze.
The stylish design also sits well on these fashionable streets. The Gocycle is not like any other e-bike, you feel really cool riding it.
When I’m on a normal bike, I get flak from motorists who ask why I’m not in a Ferrari. You may find it hard to believe, but I don’t have one, I’m just not a big car person. But with the Gocycle, they’re now asking ‘what’s that?’ and are left surprised when I suddenly blow them away when the light goes green.
You feel unencumbered, safe and perhaps most importantly, green. Eco-friendly absolutely has to be the way to go.
Tech-wise, the bike is well ahead of the game – strong, stable and packs away very easily. It folds up in no time and fits neatly into a carry case. I’ve always been suspicious of fold-up bikes, worried the joins might work loose when you are riding, but there are no such concerns here.
Gocycle gives the opportunity for exercise but without putting anywhere near the same strain on the heart as a standard bike. It’s an extraordinary way of making sure you don’t miss out on the joys of cycling!
