I wasn’t sure how I would get on with it at the start but my Gocycle has completely transformed the way I travel to work and the way I get around London.

Gone are the days of worrying about whether my taxi was going to turn up and get me to Sheffield train station on time and – I know the roads are busy – but it is such an easy way to get around the capital. I even used it to cycle to Downing Street to interview the PM!

I like the fact that its so much more robust than I expected a folding bike to be. It can survive a pothole, but can also be folded up in about 10 seconds. It fits into the luggage compartment on the train so it makes commuting pretty simple.

I find it really reliable for getting around London too. I would much rather have a 15-minute bike ride than spend 45 minutes sat in the back of a taxi.

It’s great that you can ask the electric motor to assist you as much or as little as you like and you can fit a surprising amount of stuff in the bag that attaches to the front handlebar.

Oh… and it’s bright yellow so… what’s not to like?
